I am starting to grow a love for Doctoroo! Makes me think a lot about my childhood and especially the children of today's generation.

I like how you pointed out that Doctoroo is a doctor by magic and not by career path. The way she works with her team should teach teamwork to children. My favorite character is the banana spider😀 I look forward to reading the next book in the series. Great review!

Hawaii and animals with health issues, I am very curious about what is the reason behind their itching. Thank you for a lovely and concise review!

This is a fun and educational children's book. Doctoroo and her team travel to Hawaii to solve a medical mystery and teach the animals another important self-care tip. Kids will love the Hula rap at the book's end, reinforcing the lesson learned. Mahalo for a great review.

Unfortunately, at the moment I am not interested in children's books, despite how great the series sounds in provided descriptions. In my opinion, it takes exceptional talent to keep kids' attention focused long enough to teach life-long lessons. Outstanding work of the author and very well deserved congratulations on BOTD!

Wellner clearly has a thing for pictorial educational medical mysteries. This one has the interesting addition of culture.

I appreciate your detailed feedback on the vibrant and detailed pictures, as well as the travel and health lesson elements.

Even though the portrayal of the kangaroo character as a doctor by magic was your least favorite part, it seems like it didn't significantly detract from the overall story.

Thank you for your review!

The Doctoroo series has always given special importance to health, along with its gripping storytelling style. It is doing a good job of teaching children to stay healthy by taking the "fun" approach. Congrats on the BOTD!

"Doctoroo and the Case of the Red Hot Hawaiians" by Dr. Rachel B. Wellner is an interesting children's book. I will read to know if the gang of animal characters uncovered the reason why the pigs in Hawaii are turning red.
