Well, I certainly did not expect a book about this topic! Even though it might be educative, I would still not read this to my kids; they tend to get overly exited about topics like this and then there is no end at sight. Thank you for the interesting review!

Not sure I like the premise or even the concept of the book. It's way too strange to read this one to children. No offense, but I really don't know what to think and feel regarding it and therefore prefer to pass. Still, congratulations on being BOTD!

I'm not really a dog person but the concept of the dogs narrating their tale through the butler is quite original and intriguing. It really sounds like a fun book and am sure children will learn a lot about dogs and other animals. Excellent review.

A book on dogs poop is really fascinating. Who would have thought to write a book on dogs smelling poop? It sounds like you really enjoyed it. I will have to check this book out. Great review!

This is a great review with which I fully agree. I support the reviewer's all-star rating for this book. I am not sure about the age of the children - if a two-year-old would be mature enough to appreciate the beagle poop sniffari, but the illustrations are definitely a show-stealer. I've read this book in an instant and enjoyed both the challenging aspect and the educational nature of this book about various animals. The statistics about the sniffing abilities of dogs which the reviewer included at the start of the review are very impressive too.

The book really seems interesting, besides is a short book and it's good to try new readings once in a while, so this way we can learn much more and experience new things.Animals are always an interesting topic, we have a lot of things to learn about them and maybe this book can teach us something.

I have to say the name of the book itself is surprising and unique to say the least. Not sure if it’s for me as it is a children’s book although it nice to see the illustrations and care the author put in.

The reviewer's mention of the educational aspect of the book is commendable. It's wonderful to hear that children will not only enjoy the entertaining story but also have the opportunity to learn about various animals.

It sounds like a fun read. Honestly, the sample was too short for me to have an opinion apart from the fact that the images are wonderful. The book was splendidly illustrated so the children will simply love hearing/reading about the beagles' sniffing.

Told from the POV of three beagles, today's BOTD is filled with exploration and discovery as young readers are taken on an adventurous SNIFF-ari through the neighborhood. The content is both educational and entertaining, and children will walk away knowing more than they did before about various animals and their poop! Sounds like a great book for elementary classrooms. Thanks so much! :-)

Was taste really important in testing the poop? I have always had a thing for childrens' books, but this one has raised the bar I loved it based on your review. It was nice.

:congratualtions-smiley: :congratualtions-smiley: We who have gone through this book review, have nothing to add but only to join hand with what has been said with other reviewer's. Otherwise it is a good children's book.

This is an interesting humorous and unorthodox dictated children's book highlighting beagles and their incredible sense of smell. The book is temporarily discounted on Amazon Kindle and has a well-written OnlineBookClub review. Congrats on the BOTD selection.
