The reviewer has caught the lessons and joy experienced in this review. Children seem to interpret what animals are thinking and quickly identify with wanting their own. Centering on the school library as a fun place to learn adds even more to this read that the reviewer knows will bring joy to children as well as accomplishment. Thank you for this comprehensive review.

What a lovely story! I believe books that talk about animals in general are the ones most admired by children. I liked the idea of reading the story from Mr. McTavish's point of view. The author did an incredible job with this book. Thanks for this perfect review!

I think narrating from the dog's perspective might help kids develop empathy, added to all the other nice lessons this book teaches.
Great review!

Mr McTavish is so cute. This book sounds lovely for pet lovers as it's written from the dog's perspective. It will help children learn how to care for their pets. I would like to know why did he visit the library!

With the lovely and soothing illustrations included, reading this children's book would be satisfying. The friendly interaction between cats and people is an intriguing aspect of the plot. I'm reading a book right now about cats and people working together. It's wonderful to read about this scene. Thank you.

Nice review. The author's use of the bond between the children and their pets gave the story a nice touch and will make it fun and enjoyable for the children as they learn some useful lessons

One of the few books that reveals life from pet's perspective. It sounds very intriguing and entertaining.
I would love to know what Mr McTavish thought about humans, especially his owner.
Thanks for the interesting review and congrats to the author.

The way the author portrays the relationship between Gma and Mr. McTavish is heartwarming, and I am excited to read this book and experience life for a day from a dog's perspective.

What a great review, I fully agree on all counts. I sampled this book, and as a dog-loving person and a happy owner of ten rescue dogs, I adore Gma for training Mr McTavish to be so well-behaved, especially when it comes to wearing the hat he does not like! :) Children will be sure to love reading this lovely book and learn a lot from it!

I absolutely love the cover and the colourfully illustrated pages. Mr. McTavish is a perfect name for a Scottie dog! Kids love animals, so I can see this going down well with the intended audience. What a wonderful review!

The relationship between individuals are special be it man to man or man to his pet
It's far more appreciated when the mutual efforts shown are escalated beyond just acceptable

This story speaks of a mutual return of energies so appreciated it's expressed verbally
The pet expresses its tremendous admiration for his owner

This mutual exchange would capture the admiration of anyone more so children
I recommend them reading this book if even for the possible of learning first hand that we reap what we sow
