A young caribou and his story in the wilderness is an excellent and educational book for young readers. In addition, the beauty of the book is enhanced by wondrous illustrations that accompany the story of Rudi, the young caribou.

Thank you for your review. I did misunderstand it a bit on my first read because I was looking for a plot elaboration.
However you have explained well that this is indeed and educational book , which serves to inform the reader about the Caribou Species.
I agree with you on the illustrations, considering this is educational content the author does well to cleverly communicate through the Caribou as a character and this is a wonderful connecting mechanism to captivate young learners. A beautiful book, with such priceless knowledge. Sincerest gratitude to D. Burton Smith (the author) and Paul Hock ( the illustrator) for sharing this beautiful book with the world.

I'm a fan of kids books it is always fun for me to read them especially with the intentions I love having a new and sweet stories to tell my nieces and nephews. It is more fun especially when it comes with illustrations to keep me glued to the book.

They caribou is an educational book with sweet illustrations. It is about a caribou that faced the challenges of growing up and having embark on an epic journey of Life changing events. It is a story of strength, courage, believe and perseverance and it teaches us to have the urge of pursuing after our dreams.
It is a nice pick for kids and I know and believe that kids will love this book especially the sweet illustrations that it comes with.

This educational book for children tells about caribou. It is amazing that these animals manage to migrate more than a thousand miles each year. The illustrations are remarkable so they are an excellent complement to the story.

The best way to get through to the kids for educational purposes is an interesting story and, of course, illustrations. I think that it is serving its purpose well. Interesting for adults as well. Thanks for the great review!

This book teaches children (and not only) about the life and migration of the caribou. Since it's not such a common animal, I think we all could benefit from reading this book. The illustrations also seem amazing.
