This sounds like a great fairy tale for kids to enjoy. As a kid, I read several books from this genre. This will be a good book to remind me of the good old days. Great review!
Insofar as the word 'should' even has meaning, then we must say that the past is exactly as it should be, everything that happened should have happened, and everything that should happen will happen

What a great story! I'm a fan of fairy tales AND strong female protagonists, so this is definitely something I'd like. Adding to my to-read list! Thank you for your review.

This book looks really good. It's so important to have such strong women as protagonists in order to make the girls see, since very young, that they don't need to depend on anyone, that they can do whatever they want to. Thanks for the great review.

I am always in awe about a female lead whether it’s in a novel, a short story, or a film. Nadira is not the usual ‘broken and beautiful’ kind of girl.

I would love to have my daughter read this while she is young. Your review makes it sound like my daughter, or any other children for that matter will surely learn a lot from this book.

Thank you for your review! :tiphat:

Without sounding Feminist in anyway, its amazing how this book manages to portray the girl as able to deal with her problems, make decisions for herself while keeping the role of the male. Not undermining her as a female but emphasizing her strengths.

All in all, wonderful review.

This sounds like a children's book that adults can enjoy as well, I'm actually really interested in it, it's been a while since I've been exposed to fairytale-like books. Thanks for the review.

Ooh wow! Nadira by Alexandra Lane sounds like an interesting children's book. I can't wait to read and found out if Jai followed his heart and married her to life or the one he was supposed to marry because he had to. Congratulations to the author on the BOTD. Great review!
Books are beautiful.

I'm a huge fan of fairy tales, but something about this book just isn't quite doing it for me; I think it may be the non-stereotypical "princess".

I like children's books, and fairy take stories so I am interested to read the book after reading your review. It sounds even more interesting that the protagonist is a tomboy, it just makes it more relatable. Thanks for your review
