Great job on the review. I liked the illustrations in this book and the fact that the pages are colorful and bright. The positive messages it provides and the character who keeps trying until she succeeds is one that parents should welcome for their children. It certainly does appear to have the makings of a book that will be popular with young children.

The fact that the author is seven is so nice and I appreciate her artistic contribution. However, I'm scared that children will definitely want to repeat Ava's moves and hurt themselves.

I wanted to be a gymnast when I was little, and I too spent plenty of time flipping and cartwheeling on, around, and through things in my childhood home, so I can certainly commiserate with little Ava. And that fact that the author is so young?! BRAVOOOOOOO! I'm so proud for this young lady, and am interested in where her authoring career will go.
