Kids will love this book, which is based on a true story about a cat that vanished for two weeks. Keith's illustrations are incredible. Congratulations on a merited BOTD!

The absence of closure around Pud's bird nemesis left me a tad unsatisfied, but the overall charm of the story and the flawless editing make it a standout children's book. Personally, I'd recommend it to anyone seeking a heartwarming adventure through the eyes of a courageous cat.

A quick read to my toddler niece. We enjoyed it. She keeps asking to show the pictures again and again and narrate the story repeatedly. On the other end, I personally find the story informative about domesticated pets and their limitations to many things that we all need to keep in mind and be mindful and responsible. The illustration is very creative too. My niece can learn this while she enjoys the illustrations.

I like that Pud wants to overcome the typical “scaredy-cat” stereotype and be braver. It sounds like he has quite an adventure and I hope he successfully arrives home safe and sound, all while achieving his goals!

Due to my current age, I am not interested in children's books, but even if I was still inclined to read them, I would have passed this book anyway. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing lacking about it, the story sounds interesting and should entice many kids with adventures, but unfortunately I am a dog person)) Still, congratulations on BOTD!

Pud seems to have courage but it is interesting to know if he was able to to reunite with his family. This seems like a good story for kids.

This is an amazing book because Pud wants to do more than be a house cat; children will be able to see that they can be more if they put their minds to it. Thanks for the great review!

The first-person narrative style made me feel like I was right there with Pud, experiencing his aspirations and challenges. The vivid illustrations added a delightful touch, making it a perfect read for both kids and the young at heart.

That sounds like a nice book for children showing the adventures of a cat as he struggles to find himself in this world and his home at the same time because in his quest for "himself" he appeared in an unknown place far from home. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Based on a true story, this children's book details the life of Pud the cat. He is an ordinary house cat that dreams of being more. Join Pud on his adventure as he gets lost outside and tries to find his way home amidst dangerous creatures that live in the neighborhood. Good book review!

Thank you for your wonderful review. I thoroughly enjoyed the book too. Animals, in this case, a cat, are part of the family and I loved how Pud was talking about his yard. I also liked how it was written from Pud's point of view. I didn't notice any errors either. Even though I'm many times older than what this book was written for, I adore children's books.
