Even if it does share some themes and elements with Harry Potter, those books were plenty fun! Thanks for writing such an evaluative review.

Definitely a book for me to read as i have enjoyed the Harry Potter series. What also piqued my interest is how the author would depict how someone uses magic to create art and how the main character, Holly, will be able to unleash her potential. The good review of the book made me want to read and again experience how to be again in a magical world, as i did in other book series.

It sounds like a good book. I like reading books about creativity and magic. I have never read any of the Harry Potter books so it would be a fresh read for me. I also like stories about orphans finding something they can believe in or a strength that they were unaware of. Family is very important, and yet family is where we struggle. I'd be interested in reading this book for myself to see what my take away would be. I also love reading stories about young people and children, it seems to keep me young.

Hi, really enjoyed your review. As I was reading it I was drawing the same parallels and was commenting to my friend about it, then laughed as I finished reading the review and you were saying what I had just said pretty much verbatim (although since you had already written your post I was the later speaker). I'm glad that it was easy reading and you enjoyed it. I'm sure I will too! Love your quote by the way!

Shout out to the author, Marc Remus, looking forward to reading this one and book 2 (already out) and numero 3. Congrats on taking us to a magical land of possibilities!

Thanks melni. Even though there were parallels to the Harry Potter books, the story was well written so that one did not find it boring. I'm glad that you enjoyed it.

And if you love that quote you should check some other poems by the same poet. She is really brilliant.
