From a sampling, this seems like an interesting children's book about a young boy who is afraid of thunder and lightning and whose father explains what thunder and lightning really are so that the boy would not be afraid. It might be worth a second look especially for those with young children. Well done.

I wish I discovered this book sooner. Explaining normal things like a storm can be difficult for an adult who doesn't mind this phenomenon anymore, but children are curious. Great book!

What a great review. It sounds like the book is good for younger children who have trouble with storms. The fact that it gives scientific explanations instead of fairy tales is great.
