This story sounds very cute and beneficial for children, but alas, I am one of those people that just doesn't like to read children's books. Thank for a great review.

This sounds like a cute and potentially helpful story that teaches children about grief. I will have to check it out.

I adore children's books. They are always short but they still manage to give a valuable lesson to children. The concept of grief is very difficult to explain and judging by the review the author did an excellent job describing it. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

In a society where children are learning faster than we can ever imagine, it is vital that adults in the best way we can take responsibility in teaching the most important lessons lessons for their mental and emotional health. I believe that is what Michelle Bulriss the author of this book has done in the best way she can by offering a touching story on empathy such that children get a wonderful thrill from time spent reading and adults have a well spent time giving their children the best they can, and for this I give the book a four out of four.

In my opinion, it looks like quite a strange concept for a book. Don't get me wrong, I agree that children must be educated about all sides of life and this seems like a somewhat gentle way to ease them into such hard subjects, but I personally wouldn't have wanted to read in my childhood years.

I think I'm in the mood for some lobster shaped wool knitted socks. It's a children's book, but it has a certain appeal to me; maybe it's how it discusses the stages of grief from a sock perspective, or maybe it's how well written it seems to be. Cheers!!!

What a cute story! I admit I wasn't sure what type of story Sock Lobsters was going to be from the title. Grief and loss are difficult subjects but sounds like this book handles that well.

I tend to get very attached to likable story book characters. I'm glad to know there is a happy ending to this book, despite the grief and grieving topics that are addressed via dialogue! It seems like a thorough, age-appropriate treatment of a difficult topic.

I really enjoyed the concept of Sock Lobsters because it is really relatable to my life. Not only so I have an affinity for cute socks, many of my friends have begun crocheting during Quarantine and sent many sentimental items to me. I also always receive special socks from my mother so the grandmother is very relatable.

The premise of the book reminds me of the Pixar movie Inside Out, which I absolutely adore. Both address loss in a very relatable way for people of all ages.
