Even though this is a children's book, I am still going to give it a go... after reading the review, it sounds like it is a book that even "grown-ups" can gain something from. I was always told to never judge a book by its cover, but unfortunately there are many individuals that do. There is honestly entirely too much judgement in our world today and children should be taught at a young age not to be judgmental of others--at least not until you get to know them!
Looking forward to reading and thanks for the great review!

A well written review that perfectly captured the story in its beauty. Absolutely love today's selection! An Easy to read, colorful children's book with the most amazing pictures and a lesson on friendship, bravery, innocence and the importance of getting to know someone before forming an opinion about them. As a mother with toddlers, today's BOTD was an absolute delight for me. Congratulations to the author and thank you for this BOTD selection.

What elders see while sitting, the children may not see even when standing as high as the Paris tower. The way we look out for each other during the early days as a child is something I do miss as an adult. Wonderful literary piece of work by the way.

A children's book that will teach you not to judge someone by what you hear about them. I think this is a great book for kids and I think they would enjoy the illustrations. I think even some adults need to read this book. Great review; well thought-out and detailed.
