Stuffed bears come to life to battle with shadow monsters in this book by Cameron Alexander. It sounds both exciting and amusing and I can't wait to check it out.

Wow, seems to be quite the series! I saw so far it has eight books and if they all combines adventure and live lessons so well as this one - it really worth to be read to your kids!

Timmy could be a good example of courage and determination for other childen. I liked the author's playful tone and the smooth flow of the story. I'm also glad his relationship with his father is a great addition to the plot. I think children will easily relate to Timmy and excitedly follow his adventures. Thanks for a nice review!

Teddy bears against darkness and monsters? What an adorable book idea for the young ones! The title of the book is witty and the plot seems perfectly adventurous. The book cover would probably have prevented me from choosing this book though.

The relationship of Timmy with his missing father and with his newfound friends who help him, the darkness they encounter, and the obstacles they face to reunite sound like a metaphor for life. Does the book have illustrations? I just downloaded it, so I guess I'll find out!

Though he at times Timmy felt alone, he never was. His father left friends to protect him. It takes courage for a kid to leave home to embark on unknown adventures in the hopes of finding his father. Thanks for the informative review.

From the review it sounds like the kind of book I would really enjoy. Timmy is a character that grows and develops throughout the book , having many adventures with his new friends. Thank you for the review!

Based on the title and the cover, this book doesn't really seem my type. Although based on your review, and rating I'm contemplating reading it. It sounds quite thrilling and definitely a page-turner!

A fun sounding book for the middle grader! I don't like the cover, kind of scary and creepy but it just might appeal to the age group. Thank you for the review.

From a sampling, this is a very interesting novel. While this is intended for a younger audience, it is still worth a look. Well done.

This looks so cute! This is exactly the kind of series I would've been all over in Elementary School! Edgy teddy bear army adventure with a sweet father/son bond? I need to read this with my nieces and nephews.

I honestly thought the story was about some evil, robot bears based on the cover. Glad to see the story is a about a wonderful father-son relationship and Timmy's adventures with his new friends.

The book sounds interesting and has the topics that will definitely be admired by children: technology, stuffed bears being activated into living creatures, other demensions. And as usual with all children's books it has a message which is great. It is so difficult to fight your fears, especially for children and the book gives a nice lesson of courage. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!
