Thanks for the review, my youngest son will be going to school for the first time next year so it should be fun reading this with him. I just wish there was an explanation given for the absence of the father because I know my son will ask that question.

This is can be read at anytime to kids. Personally, it is a great nighttime book to read to my daughter. It shows kids a glimpse of responsibility that their parents have. Awesome.

How cute to show how Nene wants to take care of her mother now that she’s growing up. Thank you for your review.

One important thing I look out for in children's book is illustrations. It makes it more engaging for children to read.

Wow, This sounds fun to read already. Who says Mamas too don't need to be pampered and taken care of? I love to read this book. Nice review

You summarised the book so beautifully! I would've been confused about what to write about a book which is so short. But you did the job well!

Your thoughts on Nene's absent dad made me think about the fact that often kids with an absentee parent tend to become "little adults." Nene seems like a little adult with a very compassionate soul. This sounds like a very special book. Thank you for the thoughtful review. :tiphat:

This sounds like a sweet story perfect for young children. When kids start school, it is also a transition for the parents. Congrats on the book of the day. Great review.

Seriously. When I read the title, I thought it was a daycare run by mom. But a child taking her mom to a mama's daycare is the sweetest story concept ever!! It was a wonderful review too. Congrats to the author on making it to the book of the day.

The review is right on point. Ngozi has done a very creative job. The fact that the author involves a mother, it means that the story will find a way into children's hearts easily. The pictures too are pleasant to children. Congrats on being BOTD.

This book is very sweet and imaginative! I love how the review points out the reciprocal relationship.

Good review! That’s such a sweet concept that a little girl thinks of her mother enough to send her to mommy daycare so she can be pampered. I will definitely read it to my twins to see if they understand that mommies need sometime for themselves.

Seems like quite decent book for kids, with relating to their problems and having real chance to help little readers to work them out. Will recommend to friends with children. Congrats on BOTD, it's well deserved!

I've got friends whose kids are getting to the age of going to school for the first time. This sounds like a great book to get for them.

I wouldn't normally pick such a book, but I'm glad I did. It has great art work, it's easy to read, and it has an educative purpose.
