This fantastic book can be likened to Malificent, a Disney Fairy Tale. It tells a sorry of love, betrayal and distract all in one. Its a complete story of magic, sci fi and so much more. Really loved this book from the reviewers point and will definitely get it into my books to read shelves.

This sounds like a really cute and fun fairytale and I love the message about female empowerment and strong female characters. I love that she's not a damsel in distress. I'm glad you enjoyed the book. Great review!

I'm sure children would love this modern fairy tale considering that Nadira is a strong and independent person who doesn't look or behave like a typical damsel in distress. I'm wondering if she ends up together with Prince Jai or chooses some other way. Thanks for an interesting review!

While I am not necessarily a fan of fairy tales, this does sound like a good children's book with a powerful message. Congrats on BOTD!

Great review. I love that the Nadir is not a girlie girl and doesn’t want to be. I think this a great wAy to show young girls that they can be different and not follow the crowd. I’m definitely reading this with my daughter.

This sounds like a very wonderful fairy tale. I love that the "damsel in distress" is actually a strong independent woman. I'm curious to see what happens between her and the prince. Thanks.

This sounds like an interesting book. I usually like fantasy and fairy tales. I wonder just how much this book is for children. If it is closer to for young teens, I may give it a read.

Nadira sounds like a fierce, independent, determined young woman. It's refreshing that she isn't in distress and doesn't wait for a charming prince to save her, despite her pull toward him. I think a lot of adults would like this book also, especially those (like me) that love strong female protagonists. Thanks for a wonderful review!

It seems like a breath of fresh air among the classic fairy tale tropes. I love the concept of a "damsel never in distress". Great review!

This review is amazing! But what fascinates a lot is the attention the book is seeking, a story of a fairly tale told in a seamless flow! I honestly love these kind of tales, they have the power to carry the readers mind into another world and back! Nadira by Alexandra Lane is a unique read. :D

I love this book. The book cover is out of this world. Many girls find themselves being misunderstood for being tomboys.I love that this book addresses this concept.
