This review does a great job capturing the essence of the book's magical and relatable storyline. I'm intrigued to know what happens when Ryan is shrunk by the firefly!

Unfortunately, I have no interest and no use for reading this book. Not only am I too old for it personally, my children are way too mature for it as well. In any case, I admire your gifting it for free and congratulate with BOTD!

I can't say I necessarily agree the fantastical character giving protagonist Daniel candy during his magical adventure would need be construed as a bad example; I personally feel children are generally more sophisticated than we give them credit for and as with any story it would be good to invite discussion around that topic if, as a caregiver or parent, you were concerned about it. Otherwise, I think this is a very helpful review and I think this picture book could be helpful for children and the parents of children who don't want to go to sleep. I did not personally enjoy the illustrations but I cannot deny they will appeal to some kids!

I appreciate the reviewer's honesty about the eBook's presentation flaws and the concern about the candy scene. These details are essential for potential readers to consider.

I certainly question the use of an unknown adult male figure that gives the child candy. I agree with the original review that maybe a fantastical dream character should, or since he's in a dreamland, the lollipops could be flowers or the like.

I also think the use of parentheses may be too advanced for the age demographic this is aimed toward. It's fine to elongate the sentences.

There are also a few general grammatical issues that make the reading a little stiff.

Otherwise, this is a cute story that could help kids that are going through resisting sleep.

This book seems like an excellent tool to encourage children to go to bed to sleep at night, without excuses. The inclusion of magic in the story is a relevant added value.

I don't read children's books but this one sounds intresting because insomnia is something I can relate to. Also, children are often reluctant to go to sleep. Good review.

The book will make a good bedtime story source for kids as children are fond of stories about fairytales.
It will be a helpful tool for parents grappling with children with bed-resisting attitudes. that's not all, it is a useful tool for kids who are learning to read; the magical aspect is an impetus to a child's reading interest.
Ryan Daniels has done a good job.
