I love the book! It was a unique way to tell about God, Jesus and the Bible. Everyone should read this especially the parents so hope is possible that children of today will be changed for the better and there would be less bullies in the world, which means a safer place to live in.

‪How I Became a Superhero by Chelsea Dozier is a fantastic story to draw the young reader in, and then share with them how Ridgelee became a superhero, just like her dad. I enthusiastically recommend ‬

After reading the review, I feel I should read this to my daughter, as it's about father and daughter. As it is illustrated, it will be very interesting to read. Thank you for the detailed review. Congratulations on BOTD.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting children's novel about a young girl who wants to follow in her father's footsteps and becomes a hero. The book seems to focus on the lessons about practicing positive qualities into everyday activities but the book seems to recommend to exhibit good qualities because children are always watching and will imitate parents qualities. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

The place of father in the life of a child is very important. I know that till tomorrow I won't really know what it means to enjoy father's love and that's really pains and affect me a lot. I'm sure I'll cry if I read this book because I'd be jealous that someone else get to enjoy what I missed out on.

This is a lovely book that deals with a girl's introduction to Jesus and how to be a good person, which in turn makes her a superhero like her daddy. The illustrations are lovely and fun and the short sentences are great for young children.

Thank you for your nice review on "How I Became a Superhero" by Chelsea Dozier. I enjoyed your description of this beautiful book and its illustrations. This will be a book I share with my granddaughter as she is into all these super heroes and is crazy about her dad. I look for any way to help share our Faith with him even though his is of the same Faith and this little book will be a great book for him to read to her. It’s a perfect read for children seeking inspiration and adventure. Congrats to the author for BOTD!

Parents indeed are the children's role models....what they see and experience in their home is going to be the building blocks of their character....you really did a great job pointing those out...a job well done on your review 👏

I love books that show the expectations kids have of their fathers. Especially girl kids, this way, they wouldn't get messed with. I also like that the book has a hint of Christianity in it.

'Official Review: How I Became a Superhero' by Chelsea Dozier presents a brief and precise account of the children's story for avid readers. It explores the theme of the book. The point that this is the story of a young girl who aspires to become a hero just like her father is worth mentioning in the review. Readers learn about her father's boss, Jesus, from her. Also, as mentioned in the review, the book describes the characteristics of a loving father, and it advises the readers to put these qualities into practice daily. Learning that this book teaches our children about Jesus in a very creative way was great!

Thank you for reviewing this book. I liked how you described the main topic and morals of the story. I am sure children will mostly enjoy this book. I am just a bit perplexed regarding the presence of the figure of Jesus in this book, since it might create some discomforts to some readers.

I found this review to be very informative and interesting. It presents the novel as a teaching text that will allow children to see God as accessible to them. It is in a form that is relatable to them and from a narrator who is one of them. This makes for a compelling read. This was an excellent review which illustrates the underlying values of the Christian faith through the voice of a child!

This is definitely a creative way to teach children about Jesus but as I am not religious this is not for me.
