Thanks for the review. The book sounds good for the little children. I also like the cover because it influences many children to know more about the story inside. Congratulate the author for that.

I love that this book has a little something in it for everyone. I enjoyed this heartwarming story. There is educational information. The concept of caterpillars being adversely impacted by the weather could spark a child’s interest in knowing more about this topic

I love the informative and heartwarming feeling of this book. I personally like the unnamed narrative and tone of this, but maybe this won't be suited for a children's book.

The Very Loving Caterpillar bySean Browne.
As most of the children's books , this one is also illustrated very well with colorful pictures which is the basic necessity to lure the child to read a book.
The narration is simple and tells children about the caterpillar's habitat and their transformation into a butterfly. Apart from being educational, it also has some' fairy' moments when the fairy comes in and we know how the children love fantasy. The book teaches them some morals of loyalty as well.
I loved the colorfulness of the book as well as its smooth narration.

Thanks bookowlie for the insightful review. Your display name is also very unique! I myself am petrified of insects and crawlies but the illustrations in this book are so cute! I agree with you that the author has used big words but it's a good way to increase a child's vocab.

The book cover is so beautiful that for sure kids will love it,
The story is very simple yet so meaningful some children will not understand it at first but for sure soon they will, Because you can relate the story from our society today. This story is so fun to read im not a kid anymore but im enjoying it.

This is a great book that all children should read, two thumbs up for this!

Spoiler Alert!
The very Loving Caterpillar, by Sean Browne, shows the value of comradery, which is good. I agree with the review, regarding the illustration, the concern about the blend of facts and fantasy, and the dissatisfaction with the ending. The illustration was indeed nice, but I think my concern regarding the level of fantasy in the story is higher than the reviewer. The review made me research about caterpillars, after reading the book and before replying to the review. And I found some points of the story to be not consistent with scientific findings. After researching, I was questioning myself, if in the future, would I allow my child to read the book? My concern stems from my expectation that children's books should provide informative content, considering the breakthroughs in science and children being more informed in schools. I don't want my child to learn fantasy made notions from books and be later on be bullied by a much informed peer. Of course, there's a possibility that my research was not as intensive as what the writer of the book have done. My assessment of the story not coinciding with scientific facts maybe also be wrong. But since I was unable to easily confirm, if the concept presented in the story was indeed a fact or a fiction, I would have much preferred if the book had an afterword describing the fictional parts of the story. For me, the book is 2 out of 4 stars.

The book was a very good story for children to read, it teaches them the value of family and friendship and how size doesn't matter when it comes to them. Overall the books was very sweet and heartwarming to read it brings us alduts happiness when we see our children reading moral stories for their education and entertainment. I rate this book 3 out of 4 stars.
