Great review. I love books where teaching is disguised as something that’s fun. I love the picture of Washington that you drew our attention to.

The feel of this review absolutely tickles me. I agree with the earlier comments, it's very clear you enjoyed this little book. You gave enough detail to spark one's curiosity without spoiling anything for the reader. Not only did you inspire many to check this book out, you definitely helped Matt Tyree with his art reputation. A big thanks and congratulations on this review.

Such a cute book! I can see what you mean by the learning value kids can get from this, and I love that it makes reading fun. I'm also very impressed by the illustrations, and the high quality of the art work. It makes for a very visually colorful and appealing book.

I like the concept involved. Educative. Appropriate for kids but could be refreshing for other readers too. Great illustrations as well.

I think I'd love to read this book because Priscilla reminds me of myself when I was 5 years old. I started reading early but I never could bring myself to use the words I learned. This book will be so helpful to young children as they'd be encouraged to learn new words. Thanks for this great review.

Your review is very detailed without spoiling the ending. I have read the book and must admit, after reading your review I will have to take a look at the illustrations again! Obviously the words fascinate me more than art.

To the reviewer, I couldn’t have done it better. To educators, teachers, parents, people who work with children and, above all, young children, this book is a delight

Not really my kind of book...for obvious reasons. However, I find that stories that try to teach kids how to read, write and speak are important if they wish to grow and succeed in life. For that I say, well done.

This book was so much fun! I can really see the educational value this book has. The illustrations are fun and I also liked the new words being handwritten. Thanks for such a great review.

I think this would be worth reading to children, but, to be honest as for me, I don't want to read this storybook because, I think it would be boring to me.

I would agree with you. I would sum up and refer to this as creativity at its best. There are numerous learning opportunities for the young ones. Amazingly, even adults would learn a thing or two from this book.
Thanks for a wonderful review.

Awwww... This sounds so incredibly delightful! Besides educational... ;) My immediate thought is that the other books in the series is going to focus around other animal types? Mammals? Cats? Lizards? Fish? How cool would that be??? :)
