Farmer Beau's Farm by Kathleen Geiger is a cute children's book with wonderful illustrations. It's a story that will appeal to kids and adults alike. Quick and easy to read, with colorful pictures to draw the eye, Farmer Beau's Farm is a must-have for any child's collection.

The story is about a farmer and his wife. They enjoy tending the land, baking, and sewing. And one day, they discover kittens on their farm. They care for the kittens, but all of them leave, save for one. The one that stays they decide to name Kailey Kitten. Kailey is given a special home in the barn, and soon, she receives a new friend: Sammy the rabbit. The two hit it off and become best friends.

When Kailey and Sammy overhear the farmer talking about bringing a new animal to the farm, one that doesn't normally belong on a farm, they start to worry that they will lose the attention of the farmer and his wife. Once the animal arrives, Kailey and Sammy tease her. But when they discover her crying, they realize they might have hurt her feelings.

I think the best thing about the story is that both Kailey and Sammy realize they did something wrong and work towards making it right. It shows kids that everyone makes mistakes (in this case, teasing someone else) but that fixing those mistakes (apologizing) is always the right thing to do. It's a good message, and I thought that was nice.

I honestly can say there wasn't anything I really disliked. It's a simple children's book with a good, honest message and cute illustrations. What's not to love?

Fans of children's books and stories about animals and friendship will definitely enjoy Farmer Beau's Farm. I hope there will be more adventures with Kailey, Sammy, and their new friend Malissa. I'd rate this book 4 out of 4 stars
