[Following is an official OnlineBookClub.org review of "Zoe, Let Go" by Theresa A. Calcaterra-Raimondi.]

Zoe is a house located in Long Island. Zoe is very happy as a happy and loving family resides inside her. But her happiness comes to a halt when the family decides to move to another state. Zoe is dejected because of this horrible change. Her friends try to console her by telling her their own stories of change. Will Zoe ever be happy again?

Zoe, Let Go by Theresa A. Calcaterra-Raimondi is a children's book with some bright illustrations. The author uses the technique of personification to teach children the lesson of hope and happiness in a state of devastation.

The thing I like about this book is the optimistic approach of the author. The book implies that the fear of change is more horrible than the change itself. Change seems horrible and can make us dejected, but if we have hope, we can survive the deadliest situations in our life. Hope might not change our circumstances, but it can help us to bear the hardships brought by change. Acceptance would make things even better.

Love and support of friends is another important theme of this book. Friends are a true blessing in a time of distress. Their love can make a sad heart rejoice. The book beautifully presents all the themes with the help of graphic illustrations which makes the reading experience pleasant for a young reader.

I would rate this book 4 out of 4 stars because it is very well edited and has no errors. I am not giving it 3 stars, for the book is very well written, and there is nothing unpleasant about it. A Lower rating would seem very rude for such a good book. I would recommend it to the readers around 5 to 10 years. I won't recommend this book to the readers under 5 years because the theme of change would be a bit complicated for them.

What a coincidence that yesterday's BOTD, Corners, is also about change! This book is the version for babies, LOL! It is good to teach children about change at an early age. I am also glad that friendships are given a major push here. Our present preoccupation with gadgets is not conducive to building strong friendships. I hope this social issue is something that parents and teachers can address.

The speed with which everthing and everyone is changing is alarming. In such circumstances, such books serve as a guidance for children. Thanks a lot for commenting

This is a very good and comprehensive review. Sometimes I think that reviewing a children's book can be challenging especially if it's a very short story. So good job on this review.

Aww. This is absolutely adorable and kids will love it. Personification in inanimate objects like Zoe the house is always a great way to teach and the lesson about change is one kids need to learn at some point. Thanks for the review!
