The Fairies at the Bottom of the Harden is a children’s book written by Susan Woods. The book is an imagination of a fairy tale between Sarah and her mum.

This book includes 25 pages of quality illustrations that showcase Sarah’s involvements with the fairies. Sarah has consistently been a helpful child to her mother. She washes the dishes, minds the baby, and help in the garden. However, there was one spot near the back of the garden’s fence that her mum never touched. Out of curiosity, Sarah asks why? And mum replied that the spot is for the fairies. You must peruse the book to find out what Sarah did next.

The book remains me of my childhood acts. Children generally are very inquisitive. I admire how Susan crafted the short story. The illustrations are adorable. I like Sarah’s interaction with her little friends (Apple Blossom, Muffin, Buttercup, and Blue Gum). The “hide-and-seek game” they played are amazing. Another amazing feature is the moral Susan passed across to the reader. The book teaches the duties of children at home, how they enjoy playing games, and their sense of imaginations. Through the book, the children can learn how to show love and care to their friends while playing games.

However, I did not enjoy the ending part of the book. I think it ended abruptly. Furthermore, the font size of the book is ridiculously small. A little increase in the font size will make the book more readable. Other than that, I enjoyed my reading experience.

Overall, I rate The Fairies at the Bottom of the Harden 3 out of 4 stars. I subtracted one star because the story came to an end much too abruptly. It was well-edited, as I detected only one error throughout the book. It would suit children between the ages of 3 to 8 years. Moreover, the children that believes in fairies will enjoy the book.

It's too bad about the ending; that can ruin the whole book. Still, it sounds like an imaginative and fun story. Thanks for your introduction.

This sounds like a cute and captivating story! It is a shame about the ending and font size.. that is very disappointing when that happens. Thanks for this great review!

Thank you for your review of The Fairies at the bottom of the Garden. It is unfortunate when a well-written book ends a bit unexpectedly. The fact the author is able to impart a moral on the duties of children at home and towards friends and family is good. :D :D

It seems as though this book is a good balance between work and play for a child. I love when both values are taught in a fun way. It's unfortunate that it ended abruptly, but it seems like it would still be a fun read for the little ones. :D

Well done on this review, sounds like it is a charming children's book. It is unfortunate the ending is abrupt but also sounds like it might be a fast, fun read for adults who still believe in fairies too! :D
