When I saw the idea of having ferrets as a pet, I got interested right away to read this book. This children's book, Chubby Wubbles: My Pet Ferret by M. J. Abrams, takes us through the journey of Mark's two pet ferrets, Chubby and Coco.

Mark puts his pet ferrets, Chubby and Coco, to bed in their pen after a long day of playing and having fun. Waking up the next morning, Chubby finds Coco missing and is evidently worried and depressed as a result. This also worries Mark, the pet owner, who instantly launches a search for the missing female ferret. Where has Coco gone to? If Coco is not found, how will her companion, Chubby, cope? From that conflict, the author takes us through this interesting children's adventure book.

I liked the execution of this book. Through the author's writing, readers could see how important Coco was to Chubby. The flashbacks of how they used to play together made me hope they find Coco. This kept me engrossed in anticipation of how the search would turn out. Telling the story from the perspective of both Mark and Chubby also makes a reader to accurately know how the duo felt about their missing playmate. Additionally, I liked the colorful pictures and the wonderful formatting as these will appeal to children who are the intended audience.

Through this book, children will also learn how to make ferrets happy and various ways of taking care of them. This was my favorite aspect of this children's book.

In conclusion, I didn't find anything to dislike about this book. It seems to have been professionally edited since I found no errors. I'm, therefore, glad to award Chubby Wubbles: My Pet Ferret by M. J. Abrams 4 out of 4 stars.

Children who like animals and are thinking of a new type of pet to keep may find the idea in this book interesting. Therefore, I highly recommend it to them. The author's use of a simple-to-understand language will also ensure they understand every detail with ease.

Animal lovers would certainly like this. I wouldn't even have thought about having a ferret as a pet (especially as a pet for a child). Thanks for this review!

Sounds like a lovely read for kids. Though, I would consider changing the cover if I were the publisher haha. Your review is very well rounded, thanks for your honesty!
