All children take great bravery man with extraordinary deeds as their role model. R. D Base, a mom with three young boys releases a graphic novel of thirty pages:Toni The Superhero. In this novel, the author illustrates in apprehensive manner the other things that heroes do when they are not busy saving the world.

Toni The Superhero contains only nineteen sentences in which verb to like is used. It is difficult to figure out why Base uses this verb, but on my understanding it is because always children under 4 years old use this verb more often. Again, Base evocatively illustrates her hero in the red costume and helmet. The novel is graphical but, nonetheless, visually provoking and illuminating the superhero maneuver and battles.

R.D Base interesting colored photos frequently enable details to better emphasize and effectively transmit strongly some information. And yet, comparatively, the idea of her illustrations offer visual accompaniments to text and make the part of the reader's brain yawn.

I love most how her pictures highlight different messages the author wishes to bring to the fore for the purpose of her instruction. From this standpoint, no fantasy in this novel that can hamper the comprehension. The aesthetic quality of those pictures attracts the attention of the readers and depicts accurately what should be texted with no ambiguities. And again, her simple and easy sentences make it readable but not enjoyable for older ones.

The book does not contain any typos so, I rate it 4 out of 4. I recommend every parents to buy it for their children.

I always enjoy stories that dig into superheroes' personal lives, so it's surprising to see this theme explored in a children's book. I'll check this one out. Thanks for the review!

Don't hesitant Even though the book is too short, you will enjoy its brightest illustrations.
