Review by kperm -- Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoop...
Are you curious about the secret life of cats? Did you ever want to read a cat's diary? Do you want to know how three cats, a hamster, and a dog can solve a crime? If the answer is yes, then this book is exactly what you are looking for. Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat, written by R. F. Kristi, is the seventh book of the Inca book series. The book series is based on Inca, a detective cat, and her family friends. Each book in the series is full of fun adventures, and Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat is not an exception. The book is about the adventures that Inca and her company face in Sri Lanka.
While on vacation in Sri Lanka, Inca learns that a sword was stolen from the museum. Being the curious and snoopy cat that she is, Inca decided to find the thieves and return the sword to the museum. During her mission, Inca meets new friends and gets in funny situations.
What I liked the most about this book is how well-developed are the characters. They are funny, cute, caring, and, of course, snoopy. I enjoyed that R. F. Kristi paid attention to details. The book has a lovely message. It teaches children to take care of their family and friends. There wasn't anything that I disliked in this book. There were a few minor punctuational mistakes and typos. The errors were insignificant and didn't distract from reading at all.
I rate Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat 4 out of 4 stars4. I enjoyed every page of this book. It has charming illustrations that will make the book interesting for children. I recommend this book to readers who love adorable animals, funny stories, and adventures. This book is perfect for children and adults and is the best book I reviewed so far. Despite the fact that the book is a part of the series, it can be read as a standalone. R. F. Kristi did a wonderful job with this book.
