What's Your Favorite Color? by Amber L Lassiter is a fun and colorful children's book that teaches young readers about colors in a captivating way.

The plot is simple and easy to follow. The kids are required to do a portrait with their favorite color. So the different characters are trying to guess their friends favorite color and our main character Amber is receiving all kinds of guests from their classmates.

What I liked the most about the book are the small questions that the authors pops in a few strategic places. This would definitely encourage kids to pay attention to what they are reading. Plus the questions are easy if you are looking for the answer before the question is even asked. The author has a particular writing style that I found very easy to follow and I know kids would have a good experience reading this book.

There's not something I can say that I disliked from this book. However, I did find that some things are a little bit over explained which is not particularly a bad thing but it may be annoying for some kids. The narrative and editing was great in the book and the author used easy words and easy dialogs.

This book is suited for kids of all ages but particularly for those that are still learning to read in school. But it can also be read as a bedtime story or even be used as a remainder of how fun is to be a kid for grown ups. This is a book that I'll be reading to my younger cousins so they can have as much fun as I did while reading it.

The presentation of the book is pretty and colorful. Definitely is eye catching so readers can have an even greater time reading this book. Is not overly long so it would not be boring for kids. And in addition to all that I've already mentioned there's a lot of sharing and manners thrown in the book. This is made quiet so kids would have all around good examples of how to act and how to ask for things from their friends.

Overall I think this is a great book and is suited for young readers perfectly. So I've decided to rate it 4 out of 4 stars. Hopefully you can all pick it up and read it to the youngsters in your family.
