I like this book because the author used a story to introduce the kids to Christ. I have come to realize that the best way to teach kids good lessons is by doing them - kids learn faster by imitation, whether through stories or real-life events. I can't wait to read more about the story in this book. Great review!

I don't think I've ever read a children's book where the ultimate focus is Jesus and faith in God. This would be the first of many hopefully.

The Mystery of the Hidden Bridge by David W. Scheer is a children’s book on the importance of faith in Jesus Christ. The writer discusses many themes, such as humility, faith, death, and society. Three swimmers are the main characters including one swimmer named Eddie Evil that is a liar and deceiver. A competition is set and the one that can swim accross the Atlantic Ocean the fastest is the best swimmer. This is book written for children and I agree with the official reviewer's rating of 4 out of 4 stars.

This seems to be a wonderful book for young Christian children to learn about the dangers of sin and why one should never get to that point in life. Christian families will especially love this one. Congrats to the author on BOTD!

It's always helpful when children are taught early on to awaken their spiritual consciousness. However, the old man suddenly appearing and talking about an invisible bridge sounds more magical and makes me skeptical. I'll sample the book to understand if it's coherent with the story. Thanks for the review.

Thanks for today's review. I'm sure it would be a very practical Children's book considering the themes of faith, humility, society, and death that are discussed. I would love to know how the storyline develops after the old man spoke of the hidden bridge.

I've never read a kids book with a spiritual angle to it. I would like to find out what the Hidden Bridge is and how is it in conjunction with God and religion.
