Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat by R.F. Kristi is the seventh book of the Inca book series. This book can be read on its own even though it is a part of the series. The book is a story about the detective cat Inca and her team solving a mystery.

Inca, Cara, Fromage, and Charlotte travel to Sri Lanka with their mom to spend their holidays in a tropical country. While in Sri Lanka, they hear about a robbery at the main museum in Columbo. An antique sword and hundreds of gold coins are stolen from the museum. Inca is drawn towards this case and decides to crack the mystery and catch the thieves. Solo, who is an international detective and his dog Terrance, is summoned to investigate the robbery. Terrance is also a part of the Inca & Company Detective Agency.

Being the curious cat that she is, Inca starts putting the pieces together to solve the mystery. Inca and her company also get help from Rani, the turtle, and Meena, the baby elephant, to investigate the case. Will Inca & company find the stolen sword? Read the book to find out.

What I liked most about the book is that it is both fun to read and knowledgeable. The mysterious plot about a stolen sword is very engaging. The book also has information about various animals like turtles, elephants, cheetahs, and Pythons. As the plot is set in Sri Lanka, the author has included details about the geography, history, and culture of the country. The wildlife and heritage of Sri Lanka are well portrayed in the book, which is an excellent way to teach children about a new country.

There is nothing I dislike about the book. The book is well-written and professionally edited with hardly any errors. The illustrations in the book are simple and adorable, making the book colorful. I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars and recommend it to children ages 7-10 years. The book will especially appeal to animal lovers and children interested in mystery and adventure.
