According to Cambridge dictionary, 'serendipity' refers to "the fact of finding interesting or valuable things by chance". Inca and her family are on holiday. They decided to spend their vacation on an island in India, South East Asia. Mom reads from a newspaper about a robbery that took place in a museum, which they were due to visit. The museum's director recruits the service of Solo, a world renowned detective. How will Inca's company help in solving this case? What risks have to be taken in this mission? Whose help will they enlist this time round?

Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat by R.F. Kristi takes us through another adventurous period for Inca and her family. Kristi's presentation of this book is largely through the flashback technique. The plot is developed from Inca's journal hence, the events are told from the first person point of view.

I found this text more interactive than other books that I have read in this series because of two factors. First, I liked the holistic nature of this text, which is in it's characterization. Unlike other books where Inca solely solved a mystery, she had to seek help from other characters this time round. This made the book quite realistic and more relatable, because it emphasized on the need for everyone's input towards edifying the society.

The next factor is in its plot development. The author took time to develop the plot gradually from its exposition stages towards the climax and ultimately to the resolution stages of the conflict. Things did not unrealistically happen within the twinkling of an eye because enough ground was laid for the development of more action.

This creative work of art contains zero errors and I, therefore, confidently believe that it was edited exceptionally. It is more suitable to children between the ages of eight to eleven years old. I did not find anything that I did not like about it and happily award it four out of four stars.
