The illustrations in this book compliment the material very well. Self-driving cars are happy cars!

Some of the functionality is already in use, but I was amazed at the amount of work (and testing!!) left to do. It is a very interesting read presented simply and clearly.gatuguta2030 wrote: ↑23 Jul 2020, 04:04 Self driving car? I am not certain about that. Its an interesting book to read.

It really is amazing to see all the technology required to operate a car safely. Hopefully this book will get kids interested in the science behind these smiling self-driving cars!peggyrice92 wrote: ↑24 Jul 2020, 00:02 This book really got me interested on the way it stands out about a car doing the driving on its own. I think this book sounds like a wonderful book to read and it would be one I definitely would not put down once I start reading it. I would want to know more about the the way the children would react once they start reading it. It’s a great book.

. Efforts of the human driver. Things we take for granted.MsH2k wrote: ↑22 Jul 2020, 19:39I must admit I got a bit nervous thinking about all the things that have to go right for a self-driving car to work safely. It makes me appreciate the awesome design of the human driver.AnnOgochukwu wrote: ↑21 Jul 2020, 17:52 Wow. I'm still not sure about a self-driving car. Nice work though by the authors. And this review is really explanatory and informative.

It is indeed amazing how much technology is advancing. I am so glad the authors are intentionally engaging children (young and old) in the conversation.Vic Chimezie wrote: ↑24 Jul 2020, 02:28 Innovations in technology will never cease to amaze us.
