Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat by R. F. Kristi is a fiction book for children. It is the seventh book in the Inca book series. The book begins with a cat named Inca, that owns and runs a detective company named Inca & Company. Inca was on vacation in Sri Lanka with her family and making new friends. It was while on vacation that she got to know of a valuable sword that goes missing from a museum.

Inca and Company got involved in finding this missing sword and seek help from their newfound friends, a sea turtle, and an elephant to solve this mysterious loss. Serendipity Mystery is a book of 109 pages divided into days in June from 10 to 18 June, like a diary. There are lots of fun and adventures in this book as we explore life in Sri Lanka.

I love Serendipity Mystery the moment I picked it up to read. The author displays an excellent writing skill by not only talking about the missing sword but also introducing new characters, fun, and adventure as the search for the sword lasted. Inca acted like a proper detective, and her character will inspire kids to the world of a detective from a very tender age.

Serendipity Mystery is well-edited, and I did not find any spelling or typographical errors in the book except for a few punctuation marks which might have been inserted deliberately. The book does not contain any foul language, and as such, is a perfect match for children. I will therefore rate the book 4 out of 4 stars. Children adore pictures, and in this book, they are not going to miss good illustrative images that help to tell the story.

I could not find any lousy section in this beautiful children's storybook. I would want to recommend Serendipity Mystery to children and their parents alike. Enjoy the story.
