Love, Grandma by Ann Morris is a children's book, which is told from the third-person omniscient point of view. The book is a memoir of the author's past experiences with her granddaughters, Payton and Haley. When each of them was born, Grandma's affection increased in abundance. She dedicated her time to entertaining her granddaughters, whenever they visited her.

Their love was shared in the games they played, which included: mock aeroplane rides, hospitality arrangements with toys and engaging in physical exercises. The children always enjoyed their experiences and would beg Grandma to stay with them, where the three would proceed to sleep together. It was encouraging to read that Grandma would go to any lengths into ensuring that her beautiful grandchildren enjoyed their time with her.

I rate this book four out of four stars. I found it fit to award the maximum rating because of the artistic beauty and exemplary moral lesson embedded in it. Through this book, the author has showed the importance of forging strong family relations with one's relatives. She has also reiterated the fact that parents and guardians should be good role models to their children.

The granddaughters' outgoing attitude towards Grandma enabled me to reflect on the importance of allowing kids to explore their independence, which would later aid in the development of their self-esteem as they grow in life. In their interactions, they will also be able to develop their articulatory skills and enhance team-work and cooperation between themselves.

I recommend this book to children between the ages of four to seven. Some words are written in a regular rhyme scheme, which enhances memorability of the sentences and creates a sense of musicality; children would really enjoy reading this book aloud. I also liked the use of illustrations in all the pages because they complimented the descriptions of the activites that Grandma and her granddaughters engaged in. The book is exceptionally edited as I did not find any typographical errors. There is also nothing that I did not like about this amazing read.
