Today is a special day and Amber is excited to go to school. When she enters the classroom, she finds that the windows were draped with long, sheer curtains and a portrait of every student was hung on the wall. What is the occasion today? Amber along with other students is involved in a painting scenario in which every student has to paint a picture using their favorite color at least once and without revealing it. Unfortunately, Amber forgets to bring her colors so she has to borrow them from others. What is Amber’s favorite color? Is she able to keep her favorite color a secret from others? Read on to find the answers.

What’s Your Favorite Color? is a children’s book written by Amber L. Lassiter which teaches us about colors in a very exciting and unique manner. It also teaches the way in which we can have control over our emotions.

The story is written in the first-person and the language can be easily understood by anyone. I liked the clear illustrations that tie fairly with the narrative. This book also has a fascinating cover. The thing that I liked the most was the questions that were incorporated into the book. This leads children to think about the feelings of the characters which makes the book even more engaging.

There was nothing to dislike about the book. The book is enjoyable and at the same time, it is instructional as well. I found only one typographical error in the book, and therefore, I concluded that the book was professionally edited.

I would like to rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I would like to appreciate the work of the author in writing the book. I would recommend this book to parents and for children ages 5 to 10. The lesson that I learned from the book is: It doesn’t matter how difficult the situations are, there is always a way to get past them.

If I had a kid, I would definitely get this book for them. It is important for a child to learn the joy that comes with self expression whether through speech, dance or colors. This book can definitely help for that purpose.

I loved this review, thank you.

I enjoy reading children's book and the plot of this book sounds quite exciting. I wonder if Amber's classmates found out about her favorite colour.

This sounds like a lighthearted and positive book for small children to get lost into. Great review!
