The Hugonauts - Animals of the North Pole, written by Mark Morris, is an entertaining children’s book that takes readers on a tour of the North Pole. In the book, readers are introduced to the main character, Hugo the explorer, and his friends, Iggy Iguana and Boobie Bird, as they explore the North Pole and its unique animals.

All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed reading the book, as the storyline was simple and memorable. What I even liked the most was the rhyme included in the writing, as it increased my reading pleasure. Indeed, kids will have a lot of fun reading this entertaining book. Take the following sentence as a perfect example of the rhyme that ran through most of the writing:

“To the top of the world the Hugonauts go,
the North Pole is full of ice and snow
and is a place where trees and grass won’t grow.”

Furthermore, I fell in love with the illustrations in The Hugonauts - Animals of the North Pole. I have so many adjectives to describe the exquisite illustrations, but I will just say that they were colorful, remarkable, and captivating. From the perspective of kids, I do not think they will even read the words at all, as they will be mesmerized by the beautiful pictures of the animals and their environments.

Moreover, the book was rather fun and educational, and I can imagine kids having a great time learning all the cool facts about the North Pole and its animals. For example, did you know that you would not get much sleep in the summer if you lived in the North Pole? Well, the reason is that during the summer, the Arctic Circle, where the North Pole is located, has up to 24 hours of sunlight.

Considering the above points, I rate The Hugonauts - Animals of the North Pole 4 out of 4 stars. I found nothing to dislike about it. Further, I believe it was exceptionally edited, as I found no errors in it. I would recommend it to kids between the ages of three and six. Lastly, if you have kids who love animals, please do them a favor and buy them a copy of this book.

I agree with your review, this book is simple and memorable to educate kids become easier. Kids under 5 old love so much reading by big pictures or objects, colorful, and funny which that could give bright memory for them. Hugo polar bear as the prime character is good for kid memory. This book is best choice for under 5-6 years old.

Sounds like a book that can help children learn about the world. Particularly, random facts such as the Midnight Sun. Fantastic review, Elvis.
