If you fancy children's books or you know a child you want to teach reading, then Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat by R.F. Kristi is the book for you. Fun animals mixed with an exciting adventure and a missing sword to solve, the book is perfect for the curious minds of children.

Not only does this book encourage children to read, but it also encourages them to start writing. It follows the diary of a cat detective named Inca and her detective team. In this book, Inca & Company spent their holiday on the beautiful island of Sri Lanka. They meet a turtle and an elephant who became their friends on this adventure. They dealt with a missing sword case in the main museum in Colombo. The book is full of exciting encounters that will surely be entertaining to readers.

R.F. Kristi did a fine job writing this book. There were no dull moments because she made sure that every entry in Inca's diary was thrilling. The characters are lively and relatable to the target readers. The book also gave its readers a journey around the beaches and forests of Sri Lanka. I like how it encourages readers to explore. The author also provided images to keep readers engaged.

I admire how the author touched on matters of family. It is proper to teach children that we should look out for our families and friends and that they will look out for us, too. There was a scene there that also teaches readers about being brave and believing in oneself. There are a lot of lessons that readers will be able to learn from this book, which makes it a great read.

There is no profanity and explicit scenes. The flow of the story is not dragging at all. I did not find anything to dislike about the book, aside from minimal errors. I recommend this to parents who still read to their little ones or are trying to inspire their kids to start reading. I will rate this book 4 out of 4 because it completed its purpose of entertaining and educating children at the same time.

This is the second review that I'm seeing on this book. Just like the other review, the book seems commendable and interesting. Thanks for reviewing.
