Love, Grandma by Ann Morris, as the name suggests, is a dedication to her granddaughters, Payton and Haley. The book is a token of love, which treasures memories about the time when the author's granddaughters used to visit her. The author has beautifully showcased the fun activities her granddaughters and she used to perform together. For example, baking cookies, sleepovers, reading, drawing, and dancing.

Love, Grandma is a children's book, which is full of colors and heartwarming words. It is written by using rhyming words. The writing is simple yet entertaining. The accounts of activities they used to do are creatively described by the author, along with harmonizing illustrations.

The prime focus of the book is to represent the intense bond between the girls and their grandmother. The book delivers a message on the long-lasting affectionate bond, which grows more potent with healthy interaction between two different generations. The emotions with which the author has written this book is clearly evident through her style. The author has also excelled at delivering a message that her love for her girls has not faded but grown deeper with the passing years.

The book is a very lighthearted read. The best thing about the book is the latent message it delivers. In the present time, one will find children clung to mobile phones or televisions, but this story has portrayed how spending time and doing fun activities with one’s elders can be beneficial as well. The book directly promotes healthy family relationships.

Honestly, there is nothing in the book to dislike. It is a must-read for children aging between four and six. I would recommend this book to parents, grandparents, and teachers as well. It can be a perfect bed-time read too.

On the whole, I would rate this book a perfect 4 out of 4 stars read. The book imparts a profound lesson on fostering healthy relationships with one’s grandparents as well as siblings.

The illustrations are by Davis Gnass, which are commendable. Every account recorded is backed by a matching illustration. The color scheme of the book is equally appealing as well.

The book is professionally edited. There are no typos or grammatical errors. Consequently, it totally deserves a perfect rating. I hope the readers will enjoy this book as much as I did.
