The 8th book of the Inca Cat Detective Series called the Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is an animal fantasy book written by R.F. Kristi. The story revolves around a group of animals called Inca & Company. Inca, the Siberian detective cat and the head of the group, informed the other members about their new trip with their humanoid mom. Mom happily announced that she got invited to be a judge in a cooking show and present her latest creation. Thus, a new adventure is about to begin for Inca & Company.

What a fun, exciting, and adventurous story it is! I like the fact that the storyline is easy to follow for the chosen age-range of the author. From the playful fonts to the colorful illustrations, this book will surely catch children's attention. My favorite part would be Inca being an intelligent cat and the other animals being very cooperative, brave, and ready to help others. These are positive qualities that I think are essential to captivate children's hearts.

I don't think I dislike anything because there are plenty of reasons to like the book in the first place. I believe the illustrations look simple but professional at the same time. The story alone is very engaging, and by adding colorful drawings, it became more appealing. More importantly, it has moral lessons for children to reflect on.

I'm giving Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula 4 out 4. I would say that the book was professionally edited because I only spotted a few minor errors. It's a book that can not only teach good manners but also entertain both kids and adults.

I would highly recommend this to parents who love telling their kids some stories. I'm sure teachers would love this as well for their students who are into animal-based stories. All in all, It's a fun and adorable book that can bring out the kid in you!
