Review of It's Just Me

[Following is an official OnlineBookClub.org review of "It's Just Me" by Michelle R. Morano.]
Rosie made a horrible mistake in the past, and now her classmates discuss it behind her back. She wonders if that's all they remember about her. Isn't there a pleasant thing about her they'd talk about?
On a particular day, when the bell rings to head home, Rosie leaves fast because, as usual, this was yet another bad day for her at school. She walks through her favorite park, as dogs love to be petted by her. However, something unusual happens. She encounters four different feathers, each with various colors. She rushes home and shows the beautiful feathers to her mum, who then teaches her that we have more than just one side. Also, that we're more than just our mistakes. The next day, Rosie shares the lesson with her classmates, with hopes they'll stop noising about her.
This concise book is a great read for kids. I enjoyed this story enormously for many reasons. One, the story is enhanced will pictures that will captivate children. There are pictures of adorable dogs that Rosie pets, birds, green vegetation, Rosie, her mum, and her classmates.
The author took time to compose this book. Being less than 35 pages, it is feasible for young children, as they will not be bored by unnecessary explanations. Additionally, there's an aspect of being kind to dogs. While at it, I felt that the green nature of Rosie's favorite park showcases the need to take care of the environment around us.
I despised one thing. I got this book through an EPUB format. However, after opening it, the writings were scattered. Some words were unreadable, and other pages were blank. Thankfully, I got a Kindle format on Amazon. For this reason, I deduct one star and rate it 3 out of 4 stars.
There were no errors, so the book is professionally edited. I recommend It's Just Me by Michelle R. Morano to children between the ages of 5 to 8 years.
