Al’s relationship with Rory was probably my favorite part of the story. The reader can learn much from how both characters respond.Ruchi Raina wrote: ↑17 Sep 2021, 01:43 The author has talked about bullying through this book. The kids would know bullying is bad after reading about Al's experience, and they will understand his dilemma with Rory at the new school after all he's been through in his previous school. Thanks for the great review.

It really is a common issue, and if it goes unnoticed or unaddressed, it could have serious consequences. The author has done a great job with this book. Thank you for your visit and your comment, C Janet!

There are many scenes in this book that will give an adult the opportunity to discuss decision-making and peer awareness with the reader. And I thoroughly enjoyed the story too!ilvaciraku wrote: ↑19 Sep 2021, 10:18 This looks like such a good book to read. definitely on my to read list. Al is a sweet, thoughtful kid. The author did a great job of including all the major parties in a bullying experience, and there may have been a few leaves turned.Viczboy16 wrote: ↑20 Sep 2021, 01:59 Al seems to be a nice guy, I hope he avoided being bullied in his new school. Hopefully when children who have been bullied read this, it would serve as a form of support, also I’m hoping it tries to reform bullies and make them regret their action, thereby turning a new leaf.
