Mister Pushkin Turns Over A New Leaf by AC Michael is a delightful children’s book. Mister Pushkin, a Russian Blue cat with purplish-blue fur, is the hero of the book. Zealous by nature, our handsome Mister Pushkin, rocks over the 12 autumnal tales. With his sharp observational skills, he usually outsmarts humans. But what is this feline up to? Will he create unimaginable problems? As witty he is, he may prove to be a troubleshooter. He creates hilarious scenes and causes the reader to roll with laughter.

The author possesses a deep passion for reading and authoring books. In this book, he describes various lighthearted tales about the daily events in the life of Mister Pushkin. His writing style is the thing I admired the most. The exclusively brilliant description of the scenes mounts a picturesque display of the stories. The joyful, witty twist and turns in the plot make it an interesting read.

Mister Pushkin is an amazing and very dear cat to his owner, Klem. He loves smoked Salmon, sits on the windowsill, and he likes to walk uninterrupted by the length of the leash. Mister Pushkin, intelligent by nature, has extraordinary observational power. He hates his visits to the vet and being around on the cat shows. Although he tries to remain calm, whenever his patience is being tested, he persistently invites trouble for himself and Klem. While troubleshooting these situations, they create extremely entertaining stories.

There is nothing that I dislike in the book. All the tales have a surprisingly naughty plot that turns out to be joyful at the end. However, my favorite one is “Mister Pushkin breaks a leg.” The story begins with Mister Pushkin being disturbed on a Thursday morning due to the noise of rubbish cascading the trolley. The story followed a twist when Mister Pushkin observed Dolores, a perpetually resting actress in his neighborhood, trying to harm a tabby cat. Mister Pushkin tries his best to save the cat. Will he succeed? What chaos will he cause? Leaf through this delightful book to know.

I gladly rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. It well deserves this due to its exceptional editing and brilliant stories. The reader will surely fall in love with the cat the size of a jaguar cub. His purplish-blue fur, witty moves, and molten Sulphur eyes will rule on the reader’s hearts.

Children ages 7 to 14 years will enjoy this fun read. I also recommend this book to adults who are cat lovers and like to read fun stories about pet cats. The book possesses rich vocabulary and figures of speech. The children will come across several uncommon words. They may refer to the dictionary and find an opportunity to learn from the book. Furthermore, few of the stories instill good values like kindliness, friendliness, and modesty.

So, jump into the quirky world of Mister Pushkin and enjoy the mischief and humor.

Although I’m a fan of neither children’s books or cats, Mr. Pushkin does have some interesting adventures. Klem is certainly patient.
