The Story of Photosynthesis Straight from the Bear's mouth begins with Dina and Jake being amazed at the ability of tiny seeds to grow into very tall trees. When they approach their biology teacher, Dr. Mildew, with this observation, he guides them into forming a hypothesis for this observation and conducting an experiment that involves placing different plants outside the cage of his pet, a bear. They discover something amazing, which is used to teach and explain to them the process of photosynthesis. Read this book to find out what they discovered.

This book is simply a summary of the scientific process. Being a children's book, the author embellishes his work with a colorful front cover and colorful pictures to explain the contents of the book at every point. The book also has an index where tough words are explained.

I love the fact that children are introduced to the process of science and given a detailed explanation of why things happen around us. While I think some of the terms used may be complex and confusing to the children, I am also of the opinion that it will help widen the horizon of children's thinking faculty and help them to increase their knowledge. I also like the fact that the author makes use of chemical symbols in the book. It helps the children get acquainted with these symbols at an early age.

I must, however, point out the small fonts in which the book was written. Being a children's book, this may reduce a child's interest in reading the book. Apart from this, there is nothing to hate about this book, as it is a very educating and enlightening one, even for adults. The book is professionally edited as I discovered no error while reading. For these reasons, I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. This book is recommended for children between the ages of 9 and 15 and adults who wish to know the process of photosynthesis in a simplified manner.

The author, Bill Ross in The Story of Photosynthesis Straight from the Bear's mouth does a great job as this is a must-read for every person hungry for knowledge.

I was one of the first people my age to know what photosynthesis was and it made me really proud back then😂😂. Anyways, this book is a great opportunity for any child to learn about this important process at an early stage.
