Review of Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula
Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi is the eighth book in this series. This is an interesting children's book that would interest anyone, no matter their age.
Inca's humanoid mom will have to travel to South Korea, where she will be one of the judges at a cooking event. She also hoped to use the opportunity to present her special cheese. Inca and the crew were happy about it, but when they realized that they would leave their friends behind, they felt sad. However, when they learned that Solo would bring his dog, Terrance, they were very happy. On their way to South Korea, they meet a mischievous chef, Enzo, who tried to steal their mom's cheese but was caught with the help of Fromage and Terrance. On getting to South Korea, they discovered that their tour guide, Ye-Jun, had been separated from his sister and their cat for a long time. How would the crew help Ye-Jun reunite with his loved ones?
This was an engrossing read. I couldn't take my eyes off this book until I was done reading it. I also learned a lot of Korean words from this book. The author is good at creating suspense. I have been following this series for a while, and the author never fails to deliver. I would get a copy of this book for my cousin. I wish a movie adaptation of this series would be made.
There was nothing bad about this book. Despite being a book primarily for children, adults would enjoy reading it because of the suspense. My favorite character was Inca. I loved her Snoopy and intelligent nature. The scene in the book was well-detailed. Every child would enjoy this book and learn a lot about courage from the Inca.
I'm rating this book 4 out of 4 stars. The book was exceptionally well-edited. I didn't find a single error in the book. I would recommend this book to people who love reading children's books.
