Mister Pushkin Turns Over A New Leaf by AC Michael is the second book in the series, with 12 autumnal tales. The stories follow Mister Pushkin a feisty, mischievous, and witty cat through his many adventures with his owner Klem, a friend, and her cat.

The book kept me on my toes, relating the many endeavors of the charming cat. Just when you'd think he had gotten himself in trouble, he manages to find a way out of it and is even rewarded with some delicious smoked salmon and milk. His quarrel with the mallards, saving other creatures, getting his owner in trouble, and making up for his troublesome with pristine wide eyes and soft purrs and nuzzles are all some of this cat's never-ending adventures.

What I enjoyed most about this book was the change of perspective. Being able to see through Mister Pushkin's eyes, as a cat owner myself, many of his reactions and actions throughout the book make so much sense!

There was nothing I particularly disliked about the book. It was comical and adventurous. Even though the directed audience is for children, I enjoyed it to a great extent. Each of the tales was better than the other and till now I cannot seem to be able to pick a favorite.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars . The book was an amusing read. Michael has a great writing style. The tales were engaging and thrilling. The book seemed professionally edited, and I found no grammatical or spelling mistakes. Even though it is part of a series, the book is a stand-alone, and each story can be read individually. Nonetheless, there are connections between the stories; as characters reappear throughout the tales.

I would recommend this book to young readers of ages 6-14. The book's English was slightly more sophisticated for much younger readers. However, it would make a great opportunity for younger children to learn new vocabulary while reading fun stories.
