Mister Pushkin is back again! The Ukrainian Blue is back with more fun and adventure. Mister Pushkin Turns Over A New Leaf by AC Michael is the second book in the 'Tales of Mister Pushkin' series. It is a children's book with twelve exciting tales of the opinionated cat. In chapter one, Mister Pushkin and Klem (the cat's owner) go to the park. The highlight of this first tale is when Mister Pushkin teaches a flock of mischievous mallards a lesson it will never forget. There are tales about winning a cat race, chasing a squirrel, saving a rat, and many other interesting tales. Being the only Ukrainian Blue in the country, Mister Pushkin is a priceless cat. In one of the tales, an attempt is made at stealing him. In the final chapter, Mister Pushkin goes missing. Will Klem be able to find him? Find out by reading Mister Pushkin Turns Over A New Leaf.

This is the second book I have read in the series. There are many things I like about the book; the humor is just one of them. The tales are delightful to read; they are simple and relatable. The author's writing is engaging. I enjoyed reading about Mister Pushkin's daily life. AC Michael skillfully captures the personality of the witty cat. The remarkable features of the cat are beautifully described in great detail.

My favorite tale was tale 22: 'Mister Pushkin Plays With Fire.' In this tale, Mister Pushkin saves a family of hedgehogs from a fire. In another tale, Mister Pushkin saves a tabby from death. As always, the Ukrainian Blue emerges as the hero of the day.

The book is suitable for its intended audience in many ways. Being a children's book, the writing is fun and friendly. The detailed descriptions create a vivid image in the mind of the reader. There are lessons on kindness, patience and forgiveness. However, I do think the vocabulary is a little advanced for the intended audience.

I did not find any errors; therefore, the book was exceptionally edited. I give this book 4 out of 4 stars.

The book is not only appropriate for children, but it is also an excellent read for adults. If you love cats, you will definitely enjoy this book. Happy reading!
