Review of Mister Pushkin Springs Into Action
Mister Pushkin Springs into Action is a children’s book written by AC Michael. This book features one of a kind Russian Blue cat called Mister Pushkin. Mister Pushkin is more than your average furry friend who is no stranger to mayhem and mischief. He brings lots of laughs in this collection of tales.Spring Time Tales is the fourth book in this Tales of Mister Pushkin series.
It is finally Spring ,Mister Pushkin’s together with Klem decide to clean up all of the dastardly cobwebs. This spring cleaning exercise does not go down smoothly. This task shakes loose a spider, and Mister Pushkin tries to get rid of the arachnid before Khlem who is arachnophobic catches sight of the intruder. In the second tale, Mister Pushkin is taken by Emma and Khlem on to a surprising hot air balloon ride to catch a beautiful sunrise. Mister Pushkin is not too thrilled about this trip. Things don't go as planned when an alarmed Mister Pushkin mistakes the occasion as a hornet attack. Because of his previous documentary indulgence. The third tale sees Mister Pushkin take his revenge against Cedric for his salmon-stealing habits. In another tale Emma’s ageing ginger moggie known as Bruce, is territorial about his space, leaving brown pâté smudges when Mister Pushkin stays over. Bruce is a general pain and doesn't hide that he doesn't like him around .Mister Pushkin’s adventures are numerous and he is always the star of the show. There is never a dull moment with Mister Pushkin around.
The positive aspects of this book is the way Mister Pushkin is an intelligent unique furry friend. Though he has his selfish funny ways, he really cares about Emma and Khlem. He tries his best to show his caring side in every situation. Mister Pushkin seems to love the spotlight and this brings humour into these stories. This book is well written and doesn't have errors.
This is a children's book but it contains big words. It doesn't seem to be an easy read for younger children. There are no children in this book. It only has our furry friends and adults.
I rate this book four out of four stars. The plot, writing quality and characters are great .I would recommend this book to children and adults because it could appeal to both. But the big words make it better recommendation for older children and adults.
