[Following is an official OnlineBookClub.org review of "God Loves You!" by Michele Hayes-Grisham.]
The most important thing to do is to love God and love other people; this is the key commandment in the Bible. God Loves You! by Michele Hayes-Grisham is a Christian children's book that could be read by people of all ages to help them understand the love of God and what it means to love someone.
One of the most confusing concepts of today is love. Many people claim to have love in them, but in fact, they don't understand the least thing about love. The best place to learn about love is in the Bible. Just as the author said, before we were born, God already knew and loved us. The love of God is personal. He loves us unconditionally, despite our gender, race, age, or even skin color. God loves us. When someone hurts us, God is sad. He would do anything to make sure that we were safe. God is very happy when we talk to him through prayers. Sometimes we might think we are alone, but this author makes us understand that we are never alone, but we might be lonely then.
This is a nice book that would help catch young souls for God. This book would teach children real love, not the worldly definition of love. Reading books like this at a young age gave me an understanding of what it means to love and be loved. It went on to have a tremendous effect on my life. There are times when we become afraid. All we need to do is pray and talk and talk to God. You will get an inner peace that you can't explain. If we learned to pray before doing anything, then we would have no problems coping with the challenges of life.
As a Christian, I found everything about this book perfect. The book was brief, which is how it should be because it is a children's book. The author went on to discuss God's plan and purpose for every one of us. The Bible passages in the book were very helpful. It gave a more detailed explanation of what the author was trying to communicate to her readers in the story. God gave his only begotten son to die for our sins. The least we could do to show gratitude is to obey his words.
I'm rating this book 4 out of 4 stars. It was exceptionally well-edited. I didn't see any errors in the book. I would love to recommend this book to children from Christian families.
