[Following is an official OnlineBookClub.org review of "The Ant Called Tiny" by Miles Phillip Lewis.]
There is no barrier when one's intention is to serve God. You might be the smallest, dullest, or most quiet, but when God decides to use you, he won't look at your limitations. The Ant Called Tiny by Miles Phillip Lewis is a children's book that narrates the ordeal of an ant called Tiny, who despite being the smallest, did the biggest work of God.
In a small country in the southern hemisphere, in the smallest village, lived the smallest ant, called Tiny. Despite not being as big as the other ants, Tiny still prayed to God so that he would help him do his great works. Tiny was answered by God when he didn't expect it and he told him what to do. He was told to go around and tell everyone about eternity and how those who believed would get to spend eternity with God. When Tiny began sharing this news, he knew little about eternity, but this didn't prevent him from doing God's will. How will he go on to convince people of what he didn't know anything about? Grab a copy of this book to find out for yourself.
As a Christian, I needed to read this type of book. These past few days I haven't been at my best. I have not been doing the will of God, but after reading this book, I had to look back and reflect on my life. The life of Tiny is a big call to many Christians who have derailed from doing the work of God. The author got me thinking about how to become a better Christian in the future. I went through the author's profile after reading this, and I was mesmerized by how the author used the character Tiny to talk about his life.
There was nothing to hate about this book. The pictures in the book helped in creating a picture in the minds of the children when I read it to them. Besides talking about the work of God, this book also passed a message to children who may think that they are below their peers. Tiny is a big motivation for every child out there in the world.
This is nothing but a 4 out of 4 star book. The book didn't have any errors. It was exceptionally well-edited. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to read or loves reading children's books.
