One of the series on the cat detective, Inca, is Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula, by R.F. Kristi. This book is number eight in the series and came after "Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat," which is number seven. The author of this series brought to light Inca, his family of three cats, a hamster, and a dog, and then his humanoid mom, "Missy." In this edition, Missy was on a quest to prove her expertise and ability to make cheese; she was also selected to judge a cooking competition in South Korea. The competition was aimed at fostering peace between the two factions of the North and the South. Some events, however, appear to threaten the family’s reputable name. Inca and her family of detectives are seen trying to save the day. Did Inca succeed or not?

The author did a good job of trying to present adventures to kids in a way they could understand. The author, like in other series, wrote in a language that is friendly and suitable for the intended audience, which is children. The author is also good at describing places and helping children see the beauty in other places. The description of Korea was so beautiful and engaging. It could be a fantasy island the child would love to hear about. It could be a fantasy island the child would love to hear about.

One of the key attributes I believe children’s literature should have is a perfect grammatical structure and presentation. This is because, at their age, they seem to learn from everything. Books are the authorities for them, and they can dispute what their parents say just because a book says otherwise. Thus, I did not like that the author used long and complex sentences.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 because the author wrote it in a language children will understand. The author also used the story to teach children about peace and its importance in society.

I recommend this book to mothers and to primary school teachers. It is written with children in mind and therefore best fits children.
