We might have misconceptions about someone without getting close to them, but when we do get close to them, we will then understand that what we thought of those people is not who they are. The Three Little Monsters and the Cranky King by Teydon Rae is a children's book that will teach you not to judge someone by what you hear about them.

In a land far away, beyond the highest mountain, lived a king called Spallenzairek. He was the king of all monsters and was greatly feared by the other monsters that lived in the village. However, there lived three little monsters who would often play together whenever they got the chance. They were warned by their parents to stay away from the king's castle to avoid being eaten by the king. They took this advice for a while, but as children they let their inquisitive nature take over. They agreed to just play once in the castle. How would this turn out for them?

I like children's books because of the innocence they portray. Children are innocent beings who prevail in a world where love and peace have all gone extinct. Taft, Barkley, and Spur showed a great deal of what friendship should look like. When the king was coming, they all stood by one another's side. They knew what they might get eaten, but they looked out for themselves.

I don't think this book deserves any negative comments. There was nothing to hate in this book. The author paid attention to details. He made sure the book wouldn't bore any child by creating such an amazing storyline. I read this book to my kindergarten pupils and they enjoyed every bit of it, alongside the pictures too.

Therefore, I'm rating this book 4 out of 4 stars. The book was exceptionally well-edited. It didn't have any errors. I would like to recommend this book to people who love reading children's books.

As adults, we sometimes are quick to judge people without knowing them well, and though we may notice and try to change, it's a hard habit to let go of. This book must be impactful to children with fresh minds eager to learn.

Great review. Very true, it's not good to make conclusions about people without first getting to know. Kids are perfect to demonstrate this principle. This book is a good children's book. Thank you for the review.

Similar to other well-written children's books, today's BOTD has purposeful life lessons at its core, which in this case mainly focuses on not judging others and not believing everything you hear. Parents and teachers will also love the positive themes of friendship, togetherness, and curiosity, while children will enjoy the engaging storyline and relatable characters and situations. Sounds like a great book to help generate some very important discussions with young readers! Thank you for the helpful review!! :-)

This children's book features some so-called monsters but are they actually monsters in the sense that they do evil? Rumors and prejudice can affect someone's reputation unjustly and children need to understand that. Thank you for your great review!
