Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula: Diary of a Snoopy Cat (The Inca Cat Detective Series Book 8) is a children’s book by R.F. Kristi.

The diary follows detective Inca as she travels to South Korea with her mother and friends after her mother is invited to be a judge in the Cordon Bleu Cookery competition. Inca's mother took advantage of the moment to promote her new cheese. Along the way, she ran into an old adversary who attempted to steal her cheese, but detective Inca saved the day. They meet a new friend in Korea who needs assistance, and who is better to assist than Inca and her companions?

I enjoyed reading the book with my six-year-old sister. While reading the story, I felt like I was watching the secret life of pets, being a pet, and trying to keep up with humans. Even though this is a children’s book, the author made it accessible to adults; the storyline fit for all people.

I liked everything about this book, starting with the images in it. I suppose it is standard for children's books to contain illustrations, but they were helpful, and this was my first time reading a children's book, and it will undoubtedly not be my last. I also liked how the family and friends were introduced in the beginning; it was useful because it included their vocations.

This was a flawlessly well-written and edited piece of work. There were no errors that I discovered, indicating that it had been professionally edited. I am delighted to give it a 4 out of 4 star rating because the plot appealed to a wide range of people, and I enjoyed it.

I recommend this book to everyone who enjoys animals and children's books, because they might find it boring or slow. It would appeal to fans of the secret life of pets because it involves pets living with their human owners. There was no vulgarity in this novel, and no one's religion was affected in any manner.
