As a child, I loved observing the sky and watching the clouds drift. As a grown-up, I enjoy watching the sunset. Even when taking flights from different cities, while the plane towers above the clouds, I find myself observing them. The view is just breathtaking! Dear child, do you enjoy watching the clouds? Sometimes I close my eyes and envision myself being a cloud.

The book is about a girl lying under a tree watching clouds waft by. In one case, she sees a dolphin. Another time she observes a rabbit. Also, she sees an elephant with the trunk held high. What else does she see?

I loved the academic language the author employed. Young kids can improve their dialect at school and during social communications. In addition, Anna did not leave the pages just plainly, as she included pictorials.

I had a slight problem with the book. The pictures on each page are similar. As a result, I felt like there lacked creativity. The young girl in the background wears the same clothes and shoes from the beginning page until the ending one.

The house, trees, and flowers are similar as well. The girl could’ve worn distinctive attire and watched the clouds waft from various places. When the author mentions an elephant or a dolphin, an image of the same could’ve been included. Those aspects are what I disliked. Therefore, I rate Clouds by Anna M. Rogers-Artis 3 out of 4 stars.

There wasn’t a single grammatical flaw in the book. So, it is professionally edited. It contains 13 pages. I find it suitable as a bedtime story for young kids. Plus, the tale will encourage them to think of anything they can see while observing the clouds besides what is mentioned. I recommend Clouds to kids from 3 years to 7 years.
